Here’s a look at the extensive Tom Ford Lips & Boys Lip Color Collection.
Named after the men in Mr Ford’s life, these silky lipsticks are formulated with the brand’s signature blend of soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil.
A few are re-promotes of past seasonal colours, whilst some are colours in the current line-ups. Do comb through your TF lippy stash carefully – if you’re anything like me, you might end up gravitating towards the same hues and buying repeats! ;)
Here are quick swatches of the entire range. I only swiped them once each time, so they seem a touch sheer but if you’re familiar with the brand’s lipsticks, they build up beautifully and are quite pigmented when layered.

I think christening lipstick colours with male names is rather clever; I’m not sure why the idea raised brows when the news first surfaced. Given the slew of outlandish lipstick names I’ve seen, it actually seems like a cool facet of normal. It’s rather sexy too, isn’t it? And suggestive, given the phallic association of a lipstick bullet and the sexual connotation of rouging lips…but let’s not go there. :P
They’re smaller than a regular Tom Ford Lip Color and larger than the miniature TF gift-with-purchase lippy. The new incarnation (dubbed ‘clutch-sized’) is in the middle, in the comparison photo.
In Singapore, this comprehensive collection will be arriving on our shores on 2 January 2015 and will only be available at Tom Ford Tangs Orchard for 8 weeks. Each of these beauties will retail at S$50 here.
