A vibrant purple-pink from the limited edition Nars Thakoon collection from last year, I love this pretty crème.
Described by the brand as an ‘orchid purple’, it initially reminded me of a rich version of the Asian bandung drink, a concoction comprising rose syrup (a cordial made with rose essence and sugar) and evaporated milk.
However, my dear friend Farah said the beverage is pinker and that the colour of the lacquer actually reminded her of her Balenciaga bag in Amethyst. And she’s right – it’s an unerring match! ;)
The creamy polish is so girly, isn’t it? And such an apt shade for spring.
