ღ The distinctive scent of a perfect rose in full bloom ღ
This year, Crabtree & Evelyn has recreated its signature scent, Evelyn Rose®, to make it more contemporary. To that end, the original fragrance has been infused with a crisp airiness. Thanks to new perfumatory technology that allows scent molecules to be extracted directly from floral petals, the scent is a more precise reflection of the Evelyn Rose flower that was specially bred for the brand by English rose expert David Austin.
ღ A heart of uniquely scented Evelyn Rose petals and peach nectar, surrounded by an elegant jasmine and violet accord with accents of bergamot and sensuous amber ღ
According to Crabtree & Evelyn:
This distinctly different scent with new charm blends an old world collection of English roses with the exclusive Evelyn Rose. The fragrance infuses delicate nuances of velvety petals, fresh accords of juicy citrus and subtle amber notes to add warmth and sensuality.
The presentation of the elegant scent has changed too. Where before it was in a transparent glass bottle, the re-invented version sits in an opaque satin flaçon with gold cartouche finishing; its cap and body adorned with illustrations of the flower in bloom. Its box is satin and matte in finish to give it contrasting texture.
Here are the local prices of the items in the new Evelyn Rose collection:

I love David Austin roses – must check this out and see how it differs from the original (which I love). May be an opportunity to get some discounted items too ;)
Hi Sam,
It’s too powdery for me but my mil likes it a lot. I agree – am sure they’ll be phasing out the old range. ;)
i don’t think i see the new Evelyn Rose yet, i remember i didn’t quite like the old one, smells a bit weird… or too heavy or something like that~
Hi Plue,
Launching soon! :D It’s too powdery and a touch strong for my liking.
