A rosy greige with just a touch of warmth, Dior Vernis in Incognito is a dusty nude crème polish that has varying tones under different lighting – at times, it can look like a pale-pink beige; at others, it can appear quite greyed. I’m not fond of the hint of warmth but appreciate how easy it is to apply and wear. Aptly named, this is a quiet nude whose creamy finish and shine give it a touch of elegance.
The tip wear could be a little more lasting…then again, I do all manners of unglam activities (diaper-changing, laundry-scrubbing, dish-washing) with this high-end polish on. ;) It is a 3-coater for assured opacity; my nail tips are still visible with 2 coats of my press sample, as you can see from the photo above.
In Singapore, this nail lacquer retails at S$37 and is a part of the Dior Vernis quartet that accompanies the new Dior Addict Extreme lipstick collection.

I actually like it a lot! It looks really pretty on you! I never thought I’d fancy nude nails much but Incognito did change my mind :-)
Hi Lyn,
Thank you. I like it best when it has the greyed, dusty quality. It’s quite unusual, thanks to the mix of hues. I know exactly what you mean; I’m not one for nudes (though I ought to be, given how chipping and the like don’t show up as obviously) but Incognito is making me take another look! :D
love it! both the lipstick and the nailpolish :)
Hi Jan,
Thanks for reminding me of the lipstick. I need to check it out, as well as Black Tie (the berried black). ;)
Very different from last year’s 5 shadow palette with the same name… ^.^
Hi Milktea,
Yes, very different – that one is certainly much warmer than the lipstick and polish this year. :)
I love incognito as the color is versatile. It’s an elegant color for office use too :)
Hello Memoiselle,
It’s easy to wear, I agree. :)
