If you have a fondness for Clinique Chubby Sticks, you’ll be happy to know that these fatty lip crayons are now available in a set comprising three wearable shades: 04 Mega Melon, 06 Woppin’ Watermelon and 07 Super Strawberry.
Mega Melon is a tangerine.
Woppin’ Watermelon is a guava pink.
Super Strawberry is a raspberry pink.
Funnily enough, the fruity shades that I’ve described them to be do not match their shade names. ;)
A hybrid between balm and gloss, these popular lip tints with alliterative names contain mango seed butter and shea butter. Unlike their predecessors, they are conveniently retractable and need not be sharpened.
A limited edition travel retail exclusive, this box of lip lovelies is only available at travel retail locations and duty free stores that carry Clinique. In Singapore, it can be found at Changi Airport and DFS stores.
Mega Melon and Super Strawberry are v pretty! I swatched them at Metro recently; the names also sound like Vitamin-packed drinks :P
Hey Kas,
They look very juicy, don’t they? I agree – they do sound like vitamin drinks with their hyperbolic adjectives. ;)
I really need to check these out at Duty Free! Thanks for the review!
Hi Jamilla,
I hope you find them. Clinique picked their three most popular Chubby Sticks to put in this set~!
wow, thanks for the info! how much is it? do you reckon it’s available in DFS Scotts?
Hi MereMakeupManiac,
I don’t have the price on hand but I reckon this set will be cheaper than buying three individual Chubby Sticks. From past experience, most of the travel retail products offered by the EL companies are usually available at DFS Scotts.
Hi does DFS stores include those available to the general public at the airport? Thanks in advance. :)
Hi Sue,
I believe so but do call to check~ :)
That melon pink is such a pretty pink shade!!!
Hey Farah,
It’ll make a nice base for similar lippy shades. ;)
Oh gosh the watermelon is really sweet!~ tempting…
Hi Miwitch,
It’s the least pigmented of the three but I reckon it’d make a nice nude lip with just a hint of colour. :)
Hello,
May I know how much for this travel retail set at the airport? Thank you ^^
Hi Coraline,
I’m sorry – I don’t have the price on hand. You could call the airport you intend to visit to find out.Generally, though, they will be cheaper than buying an individual piece. :)
Oh wah~ thanks for telling me.. then I shall hold back as I got dark lips, I need something more pigmented to cover! =D
Hey Jones,
You’re welcome! :)
