I recently learnt about Tootsie Fruitie (S$75/60 minutes), the latest pedicure treatment offered by Bliss Singapore at its spa located within Sephora Ion.
Using natural fruit sugars to slough off rough skin and pamper the feet, this fruit-inspired treatment comprises a sugar scrub with crushed pineapple (♥!), a foot bath of lemon/orange slices and a pineapple soak.
As with any good pedi, there will be careful nail pruning that includes cuticle care, clipping and buffing.
Bliss Singapore carries the Diamancel brand of nail and foot filing tools; I’m assuming the spa will use these tools too. Thanks to friends who sent them to me before the brand made it here, I own two excellent files from Diamancel – I love them because they effortlessly and effectively smooth ragged nails and coarse skin.
Tootsie Fruitie includes an invigorating foot massage with the popular Bliss Blood Orange + White Pepper Body Butter and ends with a nail-varnishing session. I enquired with Bliss SG and learnt that they use established lacquer brands Essie and OPI. According to them, the treatment is complemented with a delicious Bliss Fresh Peach Froothie (a fruit smoothie, I assume), as well. This citrus-centred pedi-experience sure sounds like a zesty treat for the feet!
Besides Tootsie Fruitie, the establishment also offers other delicious-sounding pedicure treatments like Hot Milk & Almond, Pedi Colada and Double Choc, which come with their own themed beverages.
I love that Bliss’s tag line is ‘Anything less would be stress’ – how apt for the brand whose name is synonymous with happiness. ;) I’ve been offered a Bliss Spa experience for my friends and me, and I’m looking forward to it even more now!
