Made in Italy, Solar Cell (S$19) has a certain silky softness to it that is not always inherent in baked products. In my experience, some baked shadows have a crumbly – and sometimes, rough – texture and though they’re sparkly, they tend not to apply smoothly.
However, this complementary duo is not only pretty to look at, it also applies evenly and lasts.
The colours (a shimmery charcoal and medium teal) can work on their own or be combined for a smokey third shade. I haven’t tried them wet but I imagine they’d be stunning!
Here is Solar Cell with Topshop Eye Crayon in Zephyr as a lid base. I finished the look with the translucent white and sparkly black from Lancôme Ombre Absolue Impact 3D Eyeshadow Palette in G10 Étoile du Soir.
