I’ve come across face scrubs with either only a smattering of exfoliants dispersed in washing cream or exfoliants that are so gentle that they barely have any effect on my skin. These frustrate me, so I was pleased to discover that this 10.0.6 scrub has a substantial amount of exfoliating agents in its almost-creamy gel base.
Containing zinc (to control oil production), oat (to draw out impurities) and pumice (to buff away dead skin cells), it has scrubby bits that feel like they are cleaning my skin. I like that it is scrubby enough without being abrasive and my skin does not feel tight post-use. As a bonus, it has a pleasant berry fragrance.
It might not have the deep-cleansing and stimulating effect of exfoliators from high-end brands but it certainly performs well enough for a drugstore product. Available at Watsons stores, this face scrub is packaged in a hygienic tube and is affordably-priced at S$9.90 for 100 ml. :)
