Part of the MAC Quite Cute collection, Sakura Mineralize Blush (S$44) is a dual-coloured baked blush with an inset heart.
It looks like the surface of a Lush bath bomb with its unfinished appearance! :P
The base colour is a satiny soft lavender, while the heart is a pearlised – deeper – raspberry pink. Together, they create a lovely cool-toned pink.
Here’s (half) an FOTD with Sakura and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Porcelain Pink on the cheeks, Lancôme Escapade Champêtre and Étoile du Soir on the eyes and Lancôme L’Absolu Crème de Brillance in Beige Tropique on the lips. Brows were filled in with the Clarins Pro Palette Eyebrow Kit. Sakura and Porcelain Pink seem to work well together, despite the latter being warmer than the heart blush.
The little hair velcro I’m wearing in the photo is one of the Kamipita Hair Velcro Ribbons that a friend had given me. :)
That looks so pretty. I’m going to share this post on my blog soon to show people how great this blush is.
Hi Mar,
Thank you! I think my photos/swatches are pretty accurate; I’ve seen some Photoshopped ones online that make the blush look too saturated in colour.
You look very nice!
Hi Kay,
Thank you! I was too lazy to do a full face. :P
Ooh, this is cute! Can’t wait to see the collection for real.
Hi Sam,
Hope you snag one…or two! ;)
