Introduced in 1897, Eudermine was the first softening lotion ever created by Shiseido. While I was at the Shiseido Singapore office to explore the brand’s Spring 2011 makeup collection, I was given a look at a retro bottle of this moisture-booster.
Together with its cylindrical silk case, the rounded stopper and the tapered faceted surface of the ruby-coloured bottle immediately conjured up a sense of nostalgia.
Still available today, Eudermine has a loyal following, solidified by its years of reputation. Here is the retro bottle next to its contemporary counterpart. How different they are!
A history of this product can be found on the Shiseido website. It’s always a treat to see beauty packaging from the past, plus I ♥ beauty trivia. :)

Hey Kas,
I know what you mean; it’s so pretty! It reminds me of rose syrup… ;)
