Review | Lancôme L’Absolu Crème de Brillance in 220 Beige Tropique

I received Lancôme L’Absolu Crème de Brillance in 220 Beige Tropique from Lancôme Singapore during its Maqui Miracle preview. I’d originally been given a pinker one but in a happy twist, I was able to exchange it for this nude one with Iris who had received it instead of the other. :) I loved the shade as soon as I set my eyes on it, so I was thrilled that we both ended up with something we liked.

Essentially a pinked beige, I like its neutral tone which would match many makeup looks, especially the strong eyes I favour. As with the other L’Absolu Crème de Brillance lipglosses, this sleek gloss is made in Japan and contains the L’Oréal-patented Pro-Xylane™ which imparts a marked smoothness to the lips. I like the fact that it doesn’t dry out as the day wears on. Neither does it leave a gunky residue on the inner lips, as some glosses are wont to do.

The spatula-like sponge tip applicator spreads the product evenly onto the lips. I like its comfortable feel and ease of use, although I have to double-dip to get more coverage.

As of this review, I couldn’t find it on any of the Lancôme sites except the Japan one, so I’m assuming it is Asian-exclusive. In Singapore, Lancôme L’Absolu Crème de Brillance lipglosses retail at S$40.
