The new Clinique Chubby Sticks are finally in Singapore. These fatty crayon balms are smooth and lip-nourishing, thanks to their mango and shea butter content. They also impart a healthy sheen to the lips. I love the jelly visual and its connotation of see-through colour.
Unlike their predecessors which needed to be sharpened, these revamped versions are retractable – more convenient, plus there is practically no product wastage. They also seem to have more glide and shine.
Unfortunately, only four of the original eight are available here: 02 Whole Lotta Honey, 04 Mega Melon, 06 Woppin’ Watermelon and 07 Super Strawberry. In Singapore, these natural-looking lip tints retail at an affordable S$26 each. For reference, Karla Sugar has good swatches of them.

Oh good! $26 is a good buy (I’m sure they will be at least $30 here in Australia) – will pick up on my holiday.
Hi Sam,
I agree. They look and feel pretty good.
i read that these are very sheer and they feather as they dry out on your lips
Hi Karen,
I haven’t tried them on my lips, so I don’t know how drying they are. I did swatch them and they felt moisturising on my skin. They aren’t hugely pigmented but there’s definitely colour to them.
Beautiful! And, as always, a great review.
Hi Ammie,
Thank you! I hope you’ve been well. *hugs*
More than anything else, I love the promo pic with the cubes of jello!
Hey Kas,
Me too. What a great visual!
I’m wondering if they have Curviest Caramel here… How do you find the Chubby sticks are compared to Revlon’s Kissable Balm Stain? :)
Hi Ella,
I can’t remember seeing that particular shade but it’d be best for you to check at the Clinique counter. :) The Revlon ones are more pigmented and buildable, in my experience. ;)
