DHC Medicated Acne Care Makeup Range in Singapore

Available in Singapore from September 2010, the DHC Medicated Acne Care makeup range will be the first DHC cosmetics to retail here. This modest makeup collection complements the DHC Salicylic skincare range that will also launch at the same time. As with all DHC products, they will be exclusively available at Watsons.

Formulated with concentrated olive leaf and artichoke extracts, the fragrance and paraben-free makeup range aims to cover skin discolouration and acne marks, as well as prevent the formation of pimples and other blemishes. Although it has specific acne skincare properties, it is also suitable for normal skin. I personally like the cheerful grass green packaging!

DHC Medicated Acne Care Makeup UV Protection Milk SPF 50 PA++ (S$31/30 g)

This milky lotion acts as a base to conceal imperfections to achieve the appearance of smooth and supple skin.

DHC Medicated Acne Care Makeup Pore Cover Base SPF 8 PA+ (S$29/12 g)

Designed to cover pores, this product reduces skin roughness.

DHC Medicated Acne Care Makeup Concealer SPF 22 PA ++ (S$29/10 g)

A long-lasting concealer that covers acne marks and skin discolouration, this product also contains a ‘Fix Polymer’ that is strongly resistant to skin oil, forming a thin, snug-fitting veil that adheres to the skin.

DHC Medicated Acne Care Make-up Powdery Foundation (S$32 for the foundation pan/S$18.50 for the case/S$3.90 for the DHC Makeup Sponge)

Specially formulated with an anti-shine powder that absorbs excess oil and perspiration, this product not only conceals blemishes and skin discolouration, it also evens out skin tone.

Oh I can’t wait to try this make up range! I have been using the DHC skincare range for quite sometime now and i’m loving it. Cleared up my breakouts very fast and is now keeping my acne problems at bay.

Do you know if the concealer and fdn comes in various shades?

I’ve tried the makeup powdery foundation. On the bright side, it did not break me out. Unfortunately, it’s not good for oily skinned gals like me. It only lasted for about 3 hours on my greasy T-zone before it started sliding off. You’ll need to touch up regularly if you’re using this.

Does it really work?. because its no use buying it if it won’t work..furthermore the cost of each products its quite expensive for me..I have a sensitive, acne prone skin and i’m finding the suitable product that could cover up my imperfections and also treating my pimples at the same time…

      Hi Vyyy,

I am not sure if it works (I only use the powder and concealer). However, my friend has had a good experience with it.

    Hi

I used the pimple cream (blue one) and it works really well on the pimples and it is quite hard to squeeze out the cream when it is finishing. I hope they can change the packaging.

I tried the DHC Medicated Acne Care Makeup UV Protection Milk SPF 50 recently. It gave me matt skin all day but it clogged my pores badly. So I am not going to use it on my face anymore. FYI, i have large pores and pimple prone combination skin.

      Hi Wangwanglck,

I like the concealer in the green and white tube – it gives good coverage and a little goes a very long way.

I’m sorry to read about your negative experience with the sunscreen. I hope you find one that works for you. :)
