Here is my sweet Shiseido sale haul! I spent a total of S$408 on my purchases, including quite a few haircare items (not pictured here). It was a good sale, with many items priced at under S$10. I was also happy to have been able to pick up several items for family and friends!
I’ve always loved Shiseido Hydro-Powder Eye Shadows. Here are H10 Languid Lagoon, H12 Lemon Sugar and H13 Clover Dew. H11 Rose Tulle was also on sale but I already own it. ;) They were S$12 each – a good deal, considering that one costs S$39 at the counter.
Languid Lagoon is a blue green (less tealy in real life), Lemon Sugar is a yellow cream and Clover Dew is a flashing golden green.
I bought four pieces of Shiseido The Makeup Shimmering Lipstick in SL8. They ordinarily cost almost S$50 each, so these lippies were a steal at S$10!
The shimmery overcoat and rich plum shade of SL8 caught my eye immediately. I loved its colour, richness and silky glide so much that I bought one each for my mother and mother-in-law and will be giving the remaining extra piece to a friend.
The Maquillage shadows were S$7 each. The shadows in the Eye Color range have sliding cases but the ones in the Eye Color N range are refills for Maquillage palettes.
The flashing pink beige reminds me of MAC Vanilla pigment. I have a neutral shadow from this range and have hit major pan on it!
The grey blue is the typical kind of smokey shade I gravitate towards, while the flashing green would make a beautiful inner eye highlight. It actually reminds me of a Pieds Nus colour that I own.
The Maquillage glosses were S$12 (I think). The mauve has a complex flash to it, while the purply rose would be lovely on my mummy’s lips!
Like the eye shadows, the Maquillage nail colours were S$7 each. They are full-sized and bigger than the mini polishes from this season. Aren’t the colours stunning?
This ruby red reminds me of Ruby Pumps, a China Glaze polish which my mummy loved. I’ll be giving this to her, naturally.
This rose base with multi-coloured glitter was so popular that it was snapped up in an instant at the sale.
This deep navy interspersed with flashing blue green shimmer reminds me so much of Little Glossy Nail in BK937!
I haven’t tried any of the pressed powders from Majolica Majorca. I was glad to come across the Pressed Fantasia. I think the white would make a subtle highlighter. The powder refills, together with the case, were going at 3 for S$15, I believe.
MJ had many other great offers, including the Midnight Dresser palettes which were S$5 each (a complete steal, considering that they still cost S$30.50 at Watsons!). I didn’t take any product photos as I don’t want to remove the packaging (both are gifts for friends overseas).
The Ettusais mascara guards were 3 for S$5. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that that they were made by KAI.
The surprise of the sale? A couple of Pieds Nus (pN) products! Now discontinued, I revelled in the brand’s visuals during the Shiseido 40th anniversary event. I was happy to see this nail file (there’s also a similar version from Maquillage, pN’s successor). I’d wanted this item a long time ago after seeing it on the pN website but couldn’t get it; it was incredible to find it at the sale and at S$5 too! ♥
Oh my God!! I envy u~~~~
