In an about-turn, Agyness Deyn transforms from an edgy rocker chick in the ad visual of the original Anna Sui Rock Me! fragrance into a pretty pop princess for the brand‘s new Rock Me! Summer of Love scent. All sweetness and light, this metamorphosis is quite complete – I had to look at the two images more than once to believe that it was she in both. Bejewelled and decked in frou-frou accessories, dolly Aggy looks like another person as the makeup takes on cleaner hues and a softer tone. I’m not fond of this look though; I think she carries off the stronger look better.
Like the original, the pink/blue guitar-shaped flaçon has similarly-embossed images (the iconic butterfly, peace symbols, hearts) and the gilded words add a complementary touch to the pleasing summer shades.
Dreamy and soft, this perfume has top notes of uplifting bergamot, blue water hyssop and geranium. Its middle notes comprise white peach, freesia and waterlily; while its base notes are musky rose, ambergris and sandalwood.
