Part of my late July haul last year, I finally finished this tub of Sana Maiko Han Powder N Beige (S$15.90/10g) more than a month ago. Finely-milled and very similar to a high-definition loose powder I have seen, this product is perfect for creating a flawless face and tempering shimmery base makeup such as BRTC Glossy Shining BB Cream.
Although the ribbon on the velour puff broke towards the end, the powder has served me well. I continued to use it with a powder brush to set foundation and tinted sunscreen, as well as BB cream, for a matte – sometimes velvet – finish. It can be a tad dry, so it is good for people with oily skin or those who want more oil-control.
Not only is the 10g size just right for travel and my kit, the petite sakura printed on the cover is also endearing. I like the container so much that I am keeping it to store other loose powders. It currently holds a limited edition illuminating powder from Kesalan Patharan. :)
Hey Mag, is this loose powder suitable for NC25 skin? i heard that some Sana products tend to be for very fair skinned people.
Hi Carrie,
I understand your concerns re: this powder. It can be a tad fair. However, it's a very finely-milled translucent powder, so it isn't starkly white. Buffing it out works to rectify this too. :)
