Some time back, Audrey, a regular reader of Makeup Stash!, contacted me regarding my MAC Lightscapade pan. She asked if she could have it because she wanted to try her hand at baking makeup. Intrigued by her cosmetics experiments and charmed by her polite emails, I worked out a swap with her.
In return for the MAC empty which I intended to use for Back2MAC, she sent me a MAC eyeshadow case in which she had placed a custom pan of pressed pigments. She also threw in two generous extras: an ELF Brightening Eye Liner in Gilded and a L’Oréal HIP Cream Shadow Paint in 813 Witty.
I tested the custom pan and was delighted by the pretty rose-pink with hints of red and coral. A closer look reveals colourful micro-shimmer. This mosaic item would make a beautiful blush for people with fair-to-medium skintones. It would also be a lovely highlighter on darker skins, as it imparts a pretty sheen.
Audrey told me that my pan comprises:
- Physician’s Formula eyeshadow pearls (the round bits in the pan)
- MAC Iridescent Loose Powder in Golden Bronze (the golden base)
- A mineral highlighter/bronze (the light pink bits)
- A sparkly pink mineral eyeshadow (the centre of the pan)
How creative is she? I don’t think she sells her customised pans of colours at the moment but she should! ;)
Pupa looks so POP with bright colorful colors :)
