Part of the Clarins Spring 2012 Colour Breeze Collection, these luscious lipglosses are a burst of rich, juicy colour. I’m particularly enamoured with their berrilicious scent, reminiscent of my childhood candy. (“Smells like very sweet Fruittella!” my son exclaimed, when I withdrew the wand from a tube.)
New to the Clarins beauty range, Gloss Prodige is available in 8 colours:
- 01 Chocolate (brown)
- 02 Nude (nude)
- 03 Rose (soft pink)
- 04 Candy (berry)
- 05 Grenadine (red)
- 06 Raspberry (raspberry)
- 07 Blackberry (deep berry)
- 08 Papaya (coral)
Here are 06 Blackberry, 07 Raspberry and 08 Papaya. Shot through with smooth shimmer, these lustrous glosses go on silkily and evenly.
They have opaque intensity but can also be sheered out easily. I love their almost-laminated shine!
The shades are true to their names. Do note that while they’re very pigmented, their emollience can cause them to bleed a little around the periphery of the lips. If you’re particular about this, do use a concealer or lip primer beforehand.
The unique shape of the applicator (a cross between a doe-foot sponge and a spatula) gives the lips definition, while effortlessly creating a pretty pout.
In Singapore, these lip lovelies retail at S$35 and will be permanent to the Clarins makeup range.

Hi Ekta,
I enjoy Clarins lip products a lot. I’m not fond of gold packaging but their contents are really lovely. :)
Very drool-worthy!
Hey Jamilla,
The creamy, vibrant shades are quite eye-catching. :)
hmm the packaging reminds me a little of YSL’s glosses.
Hi Ashlyne,
True. I still have a penchant for gunmetal or silver packaging, though.
Oooooooh such loveliness!! That applicator looks fantastic.
Hi Lisa,
These are lovely to look at and wear! :) The applicator is very easy to use; I like the edges for creating definition. I hope you manage to try some of these.
Hi Mag. Color pigmentation looks good. How do you find the staying power of these glosses? Thx! :)
Hi Milktea,
They aren’t very sticky and do have quite a bit of glide. The staying power is so-so but they do leave a gentle stain on the lips. :)
Love the colors! Especially papaya:) intrigued by the applicator too!
Hey Jan,
They apply very well and will appeal to many lipgloss lovers. :)
These are sooo pretty! Are these fragranced?
Hi Marta,
Definitely – they have a fruity scent like the chewy Fruittella candy! ;)
Hmmm, don’t know Fruitella candy but I usually like fruity scents :) thanks Mag!
Hey Marta,
Then I’m sure you’ll love this! ;)
