This has been a good year for me – not only have I been blessed with a beautiful baby, I’ve also had the opportunity to review a slew of lovely beauty products and work with stellar brands that respect and value my writing.

The most memorable gift I’ve ever received is the Panasonic system camera, GF1, from my husband 1 year ago for my birthday!
I was just telling him casually that I want a good camera, and then one fine day, he suddenly called to tell me he’d gotten GF1 for me. At that point of time, I was still thinking that it’s such a waste of money because it’s so expensive! But now, I love the camera so much that I’m bringing it everywhere I go, heh! And it gave me a chance to capture the beautiful moments in my life. :)

The most memorable gift i received was a simple dress from my mumm for xmas last yr. althou it cost jus abt 30 bucks but it meant a lot to me because ever since i bcame a Christian about 3 years ago, it was the first time a family member took her own initiative to “celebrate ” xmas with me. To me it was a act which showed that my mum accepted my faith. also she spent xmas w me in church last yr. i was so blessed :)

3. the most memorable gift I’ve received is a walkman from my mum many years ago. As I had to take public transport to and from school everyday and the journey was around an hour so Mummy chose this gift to keep me company during my bus ride home so that I won’t doze off and miss the bus stop. I was very thrilled and touched by the gift. Although its not functioning now and it’s big and bulky. I still have it with me :)

The most memorable gift I have ever received was from a BFF.
I had a bad habit of chewing my lips and had no idea how chapped they were.
My friend bought me a basic tube of lip balm -unscented and non-tinted.
It works wonders and I think my lips feel very loved.
I appreciate my friend for noticing it, otherwise I could have well chewed my lips off unknowingly.

The most memorable gift I have received was a jewelry se (a necklace and a pair of earrings) which my son bought for me when he study in New Zealand. It was very special for me because he had to arrive and queued in front of the store from 6AM to get the special discount one. It was not very expensive, but I really love it because it’s proved that my son care about me all the time. I feel so happy and lucky to have a son like him

It was a card by my sisters and the last minute of my birthday.
The most memorable gift I have given was a hand-sewn evening gown for my daughter’s graduation prom.
Thought it has no BCBG or BEBE label, every stitch was sewn with love.
It took me 3 nights to finish and she loved it! That’s all that matters.
The amazing thing was my daughter said she would keep it and let her future girl wear it.♥♥♥

”I think my most memorable gift I gave this year was my time to help out different charities. It always brings me to tears whenever I see a child being so happy , flashing me that adorable (sometimes ‘the no tooth’) smile even if I only give her a piece of clothing. To them it’s already something big, that most of us ignore oftentimes. I was able to donate old clothes & food to those who were affected by the major typhoon that hit the Phils. There were so many people who were homeless, left with nothing at all. I volunteered to help in every way I can by donating money, food & clothes. Whenever I see them, I appreciate more what I have and realize how lucky some of us are. While others do not have anything to wear, no shelter, no food to fill their empty stomach. Nothing can ever replace that wonderful feeling of bringing back to others what GOD has blessed me with. Life is beautiful so we all have to cherish it”.

When I was young, my parents were very strict to me; I could not hang out with my friends like other teenagers. My life was only going to school, tuition and home. I kept thinking one day I would leave them to find my freedom.
My chance had come! I chose to come over Singapore to further my studies before joining into the workforce. After a few months, I felt so sad and lonely because no family members with me. I had serious home sick.
I started to go back to my family more often. My father would specially buy fresh roasted chestnut for me. Even though it was not the chestnut season, he would find it for me by all means. The reason is very simple – because it is my favourite. This is most memorable gift I’ve ever received. My father’s love had carved in my heart and now I am deeply connected to my family.

Awww, this is super easy!! I had once a mama who came to me at when my #2 was hospitalised for severe jaundice because baby was a 35 weeker and I “then” being a stauch bfg supporter was soooo upset at being force to give her formula. She came to visit me and gave me a MAC blusher!!

my most memorable gift is during my birthday this year when i was given a huge box of gifts by my bffs. the best thing inside is a scrapbook made by them with filled with photos of our outings with a lovely fairytale storyline! i was so touch and it was super creative of them to think of this idea. whenever i read the story inside it always brings a huge smile to my face<3
My most memorable beauty gift…I think I might have been five years old. It was my birthday. I received a pink box which contained a pink hairbrush, a pink comb and a pink handheld mirror. It was my very first “beauty” gift, and they were my most prized possessions for years after.
