Highly concentrated in aloe vera juice, nourishing vegetable oils and antioxidant olive leaves, this body milk moisturises and regenerates the skin. Protected from external aggressions, the skin regains suppleness and smoothness.
Of the four La Clarée Oliv’ products I received, Moisturizing Body Cream (S$41.90) is the one I like the least for everyday use. I found it a tad too sticky on the skin and would recommend it for days when your skin is dry, otherwise there will be a greasy feel, especially in this humid climate of ours.
Nevertheless, I’m certain scaly and winter skins will benefit from this. It seems to work best on the feet, the part of the body that we tend to neglect and which are often dry. This is best used as a foot cream; with this and socks on overnight, parched soles get a nice dose of replenishing moisture.
Vivawoman has a review of this body cream. Unlike me, she found it not moisturising enough. Beauty product efficacy varies from person to person, so do try it at the counter before purchasing to see if it works for you. :)
As with other moisturising products from this organic skincare brand, the trio of green tea, edelweiss and aloe vera is present in La Clarée Oliv’ Moisturizing Body Cream. I particularly like its generous size (200 ml) and the hygienic tube. The signature olive green container has a little sheen that gives it a modern and slightly expensive feel too.
